today was the first dry day I’ve had… and that made it a good day.
Left Ludlow at 7.. and the three of us (me, Wiggy and Adrian) had a good run all the way to Monmouth. Good speed and good times. Was sad to say goodbye to them there but was grateful for their support.. and a big thanks to Jane for washing some of my clothes and driving the van 🙂
But Mark was still with me and we pushed on.. and had one of the best days so far. Some wind… but no rain.. good progress.. and enjoyed it. The traffic coming into Weston-super-mare was rubbish.. so Mark headed home and I rolled into town alone.
So tomorrow.. Day 8. Have Andy and Peter with me.. and picking up a 4th in Taunton. Plus a family stop for breakfast. Still got some fair distance to cycle.. but the end is almost in sight.
Am feeling pretty positive. I know I’ve had moments over the last week.. doubting if I can do this.. but now i finally feel i can do it. Just need a little bit of luck.. and to keep the legs turning
